Who is Stephen Fandrich? Quietly, word of this passionate performer, interpreter, improviser and composer at the piano has spread throughout the Northwest in classical and jazz circles though his appearances have been scarce. Stephen will be playing the works of Chopin (ballade no.2), Scriabin (Verse la Flamme), and Frank Zappa (Sleep Dirt), amid his own works. Classical guitarist Sean V. Owen, a student of Eliot Fisk, David Leisner, Michael Lewin and Steven Novacek, is an emerging northwest treasure. Sean will be featuring Vihuela music of the spanish Renaissance, Yocoh (Sakura Variations), and the guitar etudes of local composer Mark Ostrowski.
